Ultimate Oscillator Definition
Description
A technical indicator that combines short-term, medium-term, and long-term price movements into a single oscillator. It’s used to identify potential buying or selling opportunities by analysing multiple timeframes.
Levels below 30 are considered oversold, while levels above 70 are seen as overbought, similar to the Relative Strength Index (RSI). A buy signal occurs when there’s bullish divergence, meaning the oscillator dips below 30 and then rises above its previous high. Conversely, a sell signal is generated when there’s bearish divergence, where the oscillator peaks above 70 and then falls below its previous low.
